Kipax is your personal indoor light planning app, built to help you understand exactly how sunlight moves through your room before you rearrange your space. Whether you're hunting for the perfect spot for your new fiddle leaf fig, planning a reading nook, or figuring out where to put your home desk, Kipax is here to help you make better, light-informed choices.

By using Kipax, you agree to these friendly terms that outline how we interact with you as you use the app. We designed Kipax to be open and accessible for everyone, and we kept these terms simple and clear, no confusing jargon.

User Access

Kipax is built for everyone to use freely, no login or account creation required to access any of the core features. You can start planning your room light the second you open the app, no personal information needed to get started.

All of your room projects are stored locally on your device by default. You are in full control of your content at all times, you can delete, edit, or export your projects whenever you want.

What You Can Do With Kipax

• Create unlimited room projects by taking new photos or selecting existing images from your device
• Mark window positions and orientations to get accurate sunlight calculations for your space
• Preview how light coverage changes across the entire day with our interactive time slider
• Visualize shifting light areas and view key sun angle data to inform your rearranging plans
• Place custom furniture markers to map out your space and get placement suggestions based on real lighting conditions
• Manage all your projects in our clean, organized room gallery, with easy access to onboarding guides, app settings, and privacy details
• Use Kipax for personal, non-commercial light planning for any room in your home

Your Responsibilities

To keep Kipax working well for everyone, we just ask a few simple things:

• Please don't modify, copy, reverse engineer, or redistribute the Kipax app for commercial purposes
• Don't use Kipax for any harmful or illegal activities
• Don't try to disrupt the app's functionality or access any non-public parts of the app's system
• All photos and content you upload to Kipax are your responsibility, please make sure you have the right to use any images you add to your projects

Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, features, and visualizations in Kipax are owned by the Kipax team. We've worked hard to build a useful, beautiful tool for light planning, and we appreciate you respecting our work. Your room project content belongs entirely to you, of course.

Your Privacy

We don't collect any personal data or your private room project information from your device unless you explicitly choose to back up your data to an external service. All of your personal planning stays with you. You can find more details about our privacy practices in the built-in privacy page within the Kipax app.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time as we add new features to Kipax. Any changes will be clearly posted within the app, and the updated effective date will be posted at the top of this agreement.
